 If the Active Touch is installed as a building (floor) control terminal, it not only controls the lighting switches, air-conditioning status, or access to rooms, but can also work as an information terminal and provide traffic and weather information around the building by connecting to external Web sites. Furthermore, Active Touch automatically displays information such as a building maintenance notices through registration to the Web server to provide access to all the important notices.

for Production Sites
 The Active Touch can establish a simultaneous link with PLCs of different manufacturers to serve as an integrated management and control terminal that offers centralized control of the systems for different processes. Even when different PLCs are used, one Active Touch can perform the instruction and monitoring tasks. Furthermore, a link with a Web server permits capture of production and shipment information in real time. For problems on the production line, Active Touch notifies the administrator by email then fully supports prompt restoration by utilizing its video playback feature and displaying the maintenance procedure for the problem on screen.
