| This system is a radiation mechanism with high cooling efficiency and dust resistance, using the long-life type (life expectancy of six years) of fan unit with dust-proof filter on top to directly air-cool the CPU and the left and right ducts to exhaust the isolated air from heat sources while air-cooling the chipset (GMCH side) and the power supply unit. The fan unit can be replaced easily without removing the top cover. On compact body, while assuring the operating range of ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees centigrade. |

| For expandability, the 720 series comes standard with external interfaces such as five channels of serial ports (RS-232C x 4, RS-422/485 x 1 [inside a RAS connector]), two channels of LAN ports (1000BASE-T x 1, 100BASE-TX x 1), and four channels of USB 2.0 ports. A variety of extensions also include a CF slot (bootable) and two PCI slots.

The PCI slots are placed in the riser unit structure removable from the system unit, making it easy to plug and unplug PCI boards. For storage devices (such as hard disk drives), the new series employs a slot-in system that facilitates their mounting and demounting. These mechanisms allow you to draw parts in and out of the system unit from the front side, not from lateral directions as with the conventional 360 Series, contributing to the improvement in maintainability. |
