The 720 Series is based on a fast CPU supporting high-speed data acquisition and arithmetic applications, equipped with a wealth of communications ports as standard, and enhanced in maintainability of replacement parts with easy unit connection mechanisms. The new product is an embedded computer designed for high-speed processing applications with a CPU of Intel(R) Celeron (R) processor 2.0 GHz (400-MHz FSB), a chipset of Intel 845GV (GMCH) + ICH4, and main memory of PC2100 DDR SDRAM. The product is a compact PC with a high-power CPU while assuring the operating range of ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees centigrade by adopting its unique radiation mechanism "Duct Cooling System" providing high cooling efficiency and dust resistance. The "BOX-PC(R)" family has been deployed conventionally in two categories -- the "fanless" 620/630 Series (on sale) and the "fanless and compact" 360 Series (on sale), focusing on control equipment. The 720 series released this time is a new series based on the concept of high performance as a new category focusing on applications which require high-speed processing.
