The F&eIT and a panel computer, demonstrating a high compatibility, provides utility-based automatic registration of hardware, allowing users to use the hardware immediately. The F&eIT, an Ethernet-based ultra-compact remote I/O module, provides centralized management of facilities scattered across a wide area. It also realizes low-cost system construction using an existing network.
