When the Master / Slave setup of the case where BIOS setup of a PC CPU unit is returned to a default, or disk unit are changed by Windows NT Embedded 4.0, OS cannot start normally. Please start the BIOS setup of a PC CPU unit, and change a setup like below. In addition, please refer to a PC CPU unit user's manual ( PPC-CPU686(MS)-MJ ) about the starting method of BIOS setup, or the setting change method.

| The method of power interruption by UPS use ( an example ) |

Combined use with UPS
UPS is used for the power supply of a PLC base, and it connects with a PC CPU, and if the power supply management software for a shutdown is used (RS-232C etc.), the power supply OFF after a shutdown will be processed automatically.
If the primary power supply of UPS is severed, UPS will be changed to a backup power supply and a shutdown command will be published from UPS to a PC CPU (RS-232C etc.). If a shutdown is completed with a PC CPU, the notice of completion is published to the UPS side, and UPS turns off the backup power supply by the side of secondary. Therefore, if the main breakers etc. are set as the primary UPS power supply, it can turn off automatically only by turning off a breaker.
However, a time lag occurs until a PLC power supply is turned off from Breaker OFF. |

Mitsubishi UPS "FREQUPS" V/A series
In addition, FREQUPS-F series cannot be used.
Moreover, UPS of a rectangle wave output cannot use the power supply unit for PLC.

I/O allotment is not occupied only by PPC-SDD(MS) series and PPC-HDD(MS)-5 using a slot.
It is possible to set it as zero point with a parameter. (When not setting up, it is set as one slots 16 as an empty slot.) In addition, by parameter setup, although a CPU unit occupies 2slots physically, since it is recognized as 1slot, please give 2 slot eye as empty slots ( I/O un-occupying or 16 defaults ).
