The new product, CPU-CA20(FIT)GY, contains a 240-MHz SH4 CPU to provide higher processing performance as a remote I/O system and employs 100BASE-TX for faster communication.
The CPU-CA20(FIT)GY as an I/O control module can connect up to eight I/O modules such as digital I/O, analog I/O, and counter input modules. Within the same segment of a network, up to 128 CPU-CA20(FIT)GY I/O control modules can be used. Moreover, this product is the high-end model of the conventional model [CPU-CA10(FIT)GY] based on 10BASE-T and improves communication response time to 1/3 from 1.5msec to 0.5msec by CPU speed and comunication speed.
The SVR-IOA2(FIT)GY as an I/O assist server unit can automatically check two or more CPU-CA20(FIT)GY I/O control modules cyclically to map all of their I/O information.
The personal computer that monitors and controls data can therefore read or write all I/O information on the remote I/O modules from or to the single SVR-IOA2(FIT)GY I/O assist server unit via a single access.
Using the SVR-IOA2(FIT)GY I/O assist server unit for a large-scale remote I/O system reduces its traffic and suppresses I/O scan time delay.
The SVR-IOA2(FIT)GY I/O assist server unit also has Web server features, allowing you to monitor and update I/O information using a Web browser without coding dedicated programs. Using the Web browser on the PC, you can place GUI parts such as graphs, sliders, and buttons as you like to easily create a Web page associated with I/O information.
SVR-IOA2(FIT)GY is the high-end model of the conventional model [SVR-IOA(FIT)GY]. Then it improves communication response time to 1/2 and monitoring response.
