Contec Co. Ltd., a manufacturer of PC-based instrument interfaces and industrial computers, has developed and commenced sale of the [SPI-8150-LV (Celeron 400MHz model) and SPI-8151-LLVA (Celeron 650MHz model) Full-Size, PICMG Bus, Single-Board Computers]. The two new PICMG bus CPU boards use the fanless, low-power consumption, 400MHz or 650MHz Intel® Celeron® CPU.
The SPI-8150-LV and SPI-8151-LLVA are PICMG compliant CPU boards for embedded applications that use the Intel 815E + ICH2 chipset with built-in VGA controller and are fitted with the Ultra Low Voltage Intel Celeron (FSB 133MHz, 256KB L2 cache) CPU. This is the latest CPU for embedded applications and supports fanless operation. The boards support a maximum 512MB of PC100 SDRAM main memory and feature a wide range of interfaces including dual LAN ports (100BASE-TX), AC97 sound function, 2 x USB 1.1, 1 x parallel port, 2 x serial ports, a Disk On Chip socket, CF card slot (bootable), and PC/104. The video output has a DVI-I interface for displays that use a DVI input, and a DVI-I to analog RGB conversion adapter is provided for displays that use an analog RGB input (15-pin HD-SUB).
