CONTEC Announces Four Digital lnput/Output Boards
for PCI Express Bus

The four new digital l/Os are PCI Express-compliant interface and can expand digital l/O interface into computers contain PCl Express slot. The four new digital l/Os are designed to enhance the compatibility with the current PCl boards, which is equivalent to PCI Express l/O interface specs as well as the connector pin assignment to connect l/O signal. The same APl (Application Program Interface) as that of PCI board is available for PCl Express board, thus users can easily set up the transition to the new system without changing programs.

The four new devices are 1-lane (xl) PCI Express interfaces. The basic specifications of each product are as follows:
DlO-48D-LPE: Supports 3.3VDC-LVTTL circuit, 48 Bi-Directional inputs/output,
                     Low Profile and Standard size slot
DlO-1616T-LPE : Supports 5.5 VDC-LVTTL circuit, 16 inputs and 16 output,
                     Low Profile and Standard size slot
DlO-3232L-PE : Supports 12-24 VDC circuit, 32 inputs and 32 output, Standard size slot
DlO-1616L-PE : Supports 12-24 VDC circuit, 16 inputs and 16 output, Standard size slot

  • 48-point two-way digital I/O i8225 Mode 0-compliant.
  • 200nsec high-speed response with non-isolated LVTTL level I/O.
  • All 48 input points can be used as interrupts,
    allow/forbid interrupts and select interruption trigger edge in bit unit.
  • Digital filtering function to prevent input error caused by noise and/or chattering.
  • Input/output switching can be set via application software.
  • It supports to a Low Profile PCI Express slot and a standard PCI Express slot
    (it exchanges with an attachment bracket).
  • Equipped with function equivalent to those of PCI bus-compliant board PIO-48D(PCI),
    PIO-48D(LPCI)H and CardBus-compliant PIO-48D(CB)H.
  • Connector pin assignment when using cable DIO-68M/96F is compatible with that of

  • 16 TTL level input, 16 open collector output.
  • 200nsec high-speed response with non-isolated LVTTL level I/O.

  • Digital filtering function to prevent input error caused by noise and/or chattering.
  • Output ratings can handle up to 30VDC and 40mA per channel.
  • It supports to a Low Profile PCI Express slot and a standard PCI Express slot

  • Equipped with function equivalent to those of PCI-compliant board PIO-16/16T(LPCI)H.
