The new "SMC-4DL-PCI" and "SMC-8DL-PCI" are PCI-compliant motion controllers designed to meet user's high performance needs. These easy-to-use controllers are recommended for semiconductor manufacturing device, testing device and multiple axes robot like X-Y robot. Stepper and servo motor can be connected via motor driver unit. With the included driver of Windows version, users can easily build application software by using programming languages support Win32API function.
CONTEC "SMC-4DL-PCI" and "SMC-8DL-PCI" are designed around Nippon Pulse Motor Co., LTD. Pulse control LSI "PCL6100 series" and have a variety of powerful features including linear interpolation for coordinating multiple axes, linear accelerating/decelerating, sequence S-curve accelerating/decelerating and high-performance stepper generation for ensuring smooth motion at high velocities. Moreover speed and target location are changeable even if the device is in the middle of working. These new devices also have up to 9.8Mpps motor control pulse output. The order pulse supports common pulse, 2 pulse and 90 degree phase-shifted pulses. Output interface can be used as differential line driver output so that the device can be connected with not only differential input but also photo-coupler input and TTL input type driver units. These devices also include feed back counter (differential input) and limit input interface.
CONTEC "SMC-4DL-PCI" and "SMC-8DL-PCI" are lead-free (higher than JEITA Phase 2 level) and RoHS-compliant products.
