The new product CNT-3208M-PE acquires pulse signals into personal computers with PCI Express bus. Engineers can use this counter to give them data of counted values in motion control systems, or for sampling the values in measurement systems using bus master transfer and on-board timer functions.

CONTEC CNT-3208M-PE is 1 lane PCI Express bus type, and work with up to 16 lanes PCI Express bus slot. This product contains 8-channel 32 bit up/down counter that responds up to 10MHz pulse (Duty 50%) allowing to use digital scale, gage and rotary encoder. Also the pulse input interface is compatible with TTL level output as well as differential line driver output.

CNT-3208M-PE is compatible with CONTEC CNT-32-8M(PCI), a CONTEC up/down counter with PCI bus. CNT-3208M-PE share same input/output interface specifications and connector shape/signal assignment as CNT-32-8M(PCI), allowing to use same cables and accessories. Also the same API (Application Program Interface) software can be used, thus engineers can shift to new systems using PCI Express without changing user's program.

This products is lead-free (higher than JEITA Phase 2 level) and RoHS-compliant products.
