The F&eIT “N” Series are isolated digital input / output modules that can remotely monitor and control equipment using existing network infrastructure. These modules can be easily installed using a standard LAN cable. External devices can then be connected and programmed to provide digital input / output. The “N” Series modules are compact (188.0(w) ×78.0(d) ×30.5(h)) and can be installed in locations with limited space. These modules be installed on the floor, wall or ceiling using a variety of installation methods including mounting on 35mm DIN rail, using screws or magnets to fasten them to the surface or simply setting on their supplied rubber feet.
The F&eIT “N” Series feature Contec’s original “Fail Safe” function which can be set using the supplied utility. This function notifies the external devices when communication failure occurs by outputting a specific user-defined signal pattern. It will then, according to the occurrence of the event trigger conditions, perform the output in a specified sequence with the range of specified bits (bit specified as 1) by output bit/mask of the digital output port.

This module features 16ch opto- isolated input (12-24V) and 16ch opto- isolated open-collector output (12-48V). Inputs work with both of current sink and current source outputs. The output rating is 24VDC 150mA / 48VDC 50mA per channel (max).
