The GDIO-32DM-PE is a non-isolated bidirectional digital I/O board featuring 32 LVTTL level I/O channels (working voltage 3.3VDC). User can select one of three I/O modes: 32 input, 16 I/O or 32 output channels. The DMA function enables a maximum 20MHz transfer rate allowing the end-user to quickly sample large amounts of data. It can also be used as a pattern generator to output arbitrary digital patterns at high speed. For each input (sample) / output (generate) it is possible to choose from start*1, clock*2 or stop conditions*3. The board is equipped with a synchronization control connector which allows easy synchronized control for up to 16 boards. The GDIO-32DM-PE can be used as a general-purpose I/O board when not using the DMA transfer function.
*1 Start conditions: Software, external start signal, Pattern match (input only) or start signal from synchronization control connector *2 Clock conditions: Internal clock, external clock, handshake or clock from synchronization control connector *3 Stop conditions: Software, external stop signal, specified number of items or stop signal from synchronization control connector
Features
- 32 non-isolated LVTTL level I/O channels (32 input / 16 I/O / 32 output )
- Sampling and signal generation at a 20MHz transfer rate (maximum)
- Onboard synchronization control connector for synchronized control of multiple boards
- When functioning as a general-purpose I/O board up to 4 input signals (max) can be used as interrupt request signals
- Windows / Linux compatible driver libraries are included.
- LabVIEW is supported by a plug-in of dedicated library VI-DAQ.
