The GPC-BX955 series is the high-end model of CONTEC’s GPC-BX950 series. These fanless PCs are built on Intel’s Atom™ N270 processor and 945GSE (GMA950 incorporated) chipset. They offer the end-user sufficient computer performance with low power consumption. The unit’s small footprint and low height allows installation in a 50mm gap. This "Resource-Saving PC" contributes to minimizing needed power and space for equipment, reducing running cost and promoting energy efficiency.
The DVI interface is capable of supporting screen displays of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (full HD), making it exceptionally suitable when connecting to large-sized liquid crystal displays. It has standard interfaces including 1000BASE-T, USB2.0, and serial. The GPC-BX955 Series contains no moving parts, having adopted CF card for storage and by eliminating the need for a fan, simplifying system maintenance.
CONTEC has adopted the use of this embedded-type CPU and chip set and utilizes readily available components to ensure availability and ease of the use of this product. In addition, these systems use a CONTEC-customized BIOS allowing support to be provided at the BIOS level.
