CONTEC PCIe expansion units make your laptop PC with an ExpressCard slot ready for standard PCI/PCIe add-on boards, by combining a bus adapter (PCI Express Cable Type) and expansion chassis. You can select a chassis, 2-slot or 4-slot, with built-in power supply or AC adapter. Based on the latest PCI Express External Cabling (PCISIG) 1.0 standard, the expansion units enable high speed data transfer within PCIe subsystem.
