A touch panel computer installed with a general-purpose OS, when combined with the F&eIT, facilitates system development from small to large scales.
The use of a panel computer and the remote I/O (F&eIT) facilitates reception of analog and digital signals. The F&eIT and a panel computer, demonstrating a high compatibility, provides utility-based automatic registration of hardware, allowing users to use the hardware immediately. The F&eIT, an Ethernet-based ultra-compact remote I/O module, provides centralized management of facilities scattered across a wide area. It also realizes low-cost system construction using an existing network.

This system can be applied to remote signal monitoring in a building, temperature monitoring in a furnace, flow rate monitoring at a dam, mixing monitoring in a tank, and other plant status indications, etc.
