This describes the additional information of CPS-MC341 series firmware upgrade. For how to use the product, please visit our website and see the system setup guide. (http://www.contec.com) ◆ Firmware upgrading precaution =========== *Do not downgrade the firmware. *The required time for upgrading CPS-MCS341-DS1-131: about 15 minutes other models: about 40 minutes *********************************************************************** * Do not turn off the power when LED ST1 and ST2 are on. * * Doing so may break the data and device will be unable to boot. * *********************************************************************** *Task programs in a former version (1.0.2 and older) will be converted in a Ver.2.0.0 and later versions. However, pages created by the former versions (1.0.2 and older) cannot be used. The screen needs to be created again with new tools. ◆ Before upgrading =========== Have the followings ready ・Product (CPS-MCS341 series) ・Host computer ・LAN cable ・Firmware upgrade file ◆ Version upgrading procedure =========== 1. Turn on the power of the CPS-MCS341 product. 2. Connect the product to a host computer with a LAN cable. 3. Access the product via web browser from the computer. If the CPS-MCS341 still has the default setting, set the host computer on the same network (e.g.:10.1.1.102) and enter "http://10.1.1.101" in URL. If you are uncertain of your IP address, the default settings (10.1.1.101) can be restored temporarily by turning on the power with SW1-2 switch on. 4. Log in the product. You will be asked to enter a user name and a password. Enter them and click "OK" button. If you are uncertain of the user name and/or password, the default settings (User name：mc341, Password：mc341) can be restored temporarily by turning on the power with SW1-2 switch on. 5. Follow the instruction below to go to "Firmware version up" menu. In the "Status menu", click "Maintenance menu", and then "Firmware version up" in the Backup group. 6. Upload the firmware upgrade file. Click "Browse" button. Specify the file in the host computer to upload. Click "upload" button. *If the firmware upgrade file is compressed (extension: zip), decompress it before uploading（extension: bin). 7. Upgrading will start and the product will be rebooted. 8. After rebooting completes, check the version. Access the product via web browser again. From "Maintenance menu", click "System information" under the group of System. ◆ Version upgrading history =========== Ver2.9.2 -------------------------------- Problem fix: - The Conversion accuracy of analog output has over 15LSB when the controller connected CPS-AO-1604LI or CPS-AO-1604VLI. Ver2.9.1 -------------------------------- Problem fix: - Error code(0x40) will be indicated due to the lack of resource queues when the write procecss happens form a device to CONPROSYS via F＆eIT protocol. Ver2.9.0 -------------------------------- Applied products CPS-MCS341-DS1-C001 Ver2.8.0 -------------------------------- - VTC's Vup ver1.11→ver1.21 - "String treats as" property was added in each control of Calc String and Split String. - "Get data size" was added in Action property of Str2Num control. - FTP(Put) and FTP(Get) controls were added. - FANUC CNC input control was added. - The contents of system information control were modified. Problem fix: - When reading a file, modify to delete “CR”, “LF” or “CRLF” if the “CR”, the “LF” or the “CRLF” is found at the end of the string. - FTP client function was added. - The group which has the intermediate privilege between the root and the other was added. (The group name: User) - The group names were redefined due to an addition of the user group. Root- Admin User- User (intermediate group) Other- Guest Problem fix: - In the system information register (Modbus0x5014), the last letter of "TransferErrorInfo" cannot be written. - The second time Open fails when the VTC commands the COM port to be opened or closed. - FANUC CNC data cannot be set in PrintOutput in the specified order. - The selected OPC UA client certificate cannot be deleted on OPC UA setting page. - On the file display page, data file in the folder of Azure and Mail cannot be deleted. - In Task, when the [Input String] control is placed after the [Connect] control is placed, a message is obtained that was received while the [Disconnect] control is being placed or before the [Connect] control is placed. Ver2.7.0 -------------------------------- - The function was added in OPC UA containing model(CPS-MCS341-DS1-131,CPS-MCS341Q-DS1-131). - STAG was added in UA tree. - Support MTConnect(CPS-MCS341-DS1-131,CPS-MCS341Q-DS1-131） - MTConnect was added in the menu of configuration. - MTConnect was added in the service setting of configuration page. - Change the file at the initial setting of the monitoring screen. - Problem fix: Task closed unexpectedly when device ID, channel, bits were specified for the property values of VTC task items (input and output) to run. Ver2.6.2 -------------------------------- Problem fix: VTC cannot read/write data from/into certain configurable devices. Authentication type of SIM card cannot be set properly. Available memory of HMI cannot be shown correctly. Ver2.6.1 -------------------------------- Problem fix: When connecting to the network via USB wireless LAN, timeout will be performed if IP address is not assigned from dhcp server within a specified time. Problem fix: Even SW1 No. 2 is on, USB wireless LAN operates by user setting. - A box becomes inactive if Search is selected in SSID of the wireless LAN set ting.The scan button and the list become inactive if Manual is selected. - TCP port (1~65535) can be set on OPC UA setting page. - The notation of OPC-UA changed to OPC UA. Ver2.6.0 -------------------------------- - Administrator setting function was added. Separate into two groups of Administrator (root) and General users (other) - The additional function in Login password setting was added. A user can choose whether to enter User and Password is necessary at log-in. (User and Password are always required in the Administrator page) - HMI Editor Version upgrading ver2.12.1 - Task Editor Version upgrading ver1.11 - TAG00 - 99 were added in the OPC-UA tree. - Azure data sending function became available. - File compression function in Auto backup folder was added. Backup files are compressed at 3:59 am once a day. (excludes from 0:00 to 3:59) - Support communication with FANUC CNC (Model 931 exclusively) Serial communication port setting in the device setting was added on the Web configuration page. Communication data was added in OPC-UA data. - Start-up process of the DIP switch changed. When DIP-SW1 is 2:ON 3:OFF, IP starts with default state. (login user should not be default state) - TELEC number display was added in the system information of 3G model. - Mail sending function was added. - USB Wifi support - Updated Kernel - Enhanced Modbus Slave function System information was added to 0x5000 and later addresses of the input register - Check the ROM space when saving HMI settings Ver2.4.0 -------------------------------- Apply CDS2 -Added "CDS2 format" and "Cloudkey" for Data transfer setting.
