The new product is a small embedded PLC (Programmable Controller) that implements the world-widely used software PLC "CODESYS" on our original board computer based on the embedded module Compute Module 4 (CM4) of Raspberry Pi. Utilizing our vast assets of peripheral devices for Raspberry Pi, including our "CPI series," it can be used in the world standard PLC language compliant with IEC 61131-3.

    • Uses Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4). High compatibility with Raspberry Pi is ensured. Wide temperature range design for use: -20 to 60°C(-4 to 140°F) (airflow 0.7ms). Equipped with our RTC/RAS card for Raspberry Pi (CPI-RAS), watchdog timer (WDT) and clock (RTC). Equipped with a high-output, high-efficiency power supply circuit and noise filter for the power supply, generating clean 5VDC to supply to the internal circuitry.
  • CODESYS® pre-installed - High-speed, high-capacity PC technology takes PLC to another dimension
    • Software PLC "CODESYS" pre-installed. PLC language programming compliant with IEC 61131-3. Equipped with a quad-core Cortex-A72 1.5GHz 64-bit CPU, DDR4 2GB memory, and 16GB eMMC, the powerful PC specs realize a PLC of a different dimension. Basic calculation processing speed (LD command): 1.86ns, applied calculation processing speed (ST command): 2.06ns (*Actual value measured by our company). Equipped with M.2 M Key NVMe socket, it is also suitable for applications that require large capacity storage such as high-speed long-term data collection and rich HMI.
  • HAT-sized card for I/O expansion - Make full use of your Raspberry Pi peripheral assets
    • Equipped with a HAT 40-pin header GPIO, it utilizes the peripheral assets of Raspberry Pi. Compatible with our CPI series of measurement control cards, a pioneer in PC-based measurement control, it can expand the I/O required for FA control systems, such as digital I/O, analog I/O, and counters, up to 8 cards via local bus (I2C).
  • Compatible with IoT and industrial open networks - Equipped with Web HMI and OPC UA server functions
    • Supports EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus. It is possible to build a system using industrial network communications such as our remote I/O (CONPSOSYS nano) and IO-Link master. Equipped with OPC UA server and Web HMI functions. (SoftMotion is optional.)
