Microsoft Office LTSC 2024 Embedded is designed for fixed-purpose devices that require long-term, stable operation, including digital signage systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, information kiosks, reception terminals, production-line control systems, and medical applications. Unlike general-purpose Office products, it does not receive automatic feature updates, allowing systems to maintain a consistent feature set throughout long-term operation. This helps reduce the administrative burden of revalidating systems after configuration changes, contributing to stable equipment operation and lower operating costs.
