It is IEEE802.3af compatible PoE (Power Over Ethernet) power supply unit. It is possible to supply electric power to PoE compatible wireless LAN equipment conforming to IEEE802.3af using LAN cable of category 5e or more. This makes it unnecessary to lay the power cable and further improve the aesthetic appeal.
