Regarding WPA2 protocol vulnerability in wireless LAN products

There was an announcement regarding vulnerability in the WPA 2 protocol which is the wireless LAN encryption processing technology.
We would like to report the information on the vulnerability in the WPA 2 of the Contec wireless LAN products and our response as follows:
Influence on the Contec products
The vulnerability in the WPA 2 “Key Reinstallation Attacks" (commonly known as KRACKs) is the one related to WPA / WPA 2 protocol.
The device using the WPA / WPA 2 as a station (ST) or a repeater may be influenced.
The device using the WPA / WPA as an access point is not influenced.
No influenced usage
Since the device used as an access point (AP) is not influenced, please continue using it.
Need to be taken care of
The device used as a station (ST) or repeater needs to be taken care of.
We are currently investigating and examining this situation and trying to find the solution.
We will release the latest information regarding this issue on our website as required.
