New Product Release: Panel Computers with a 10.1-inch Projected Capacitive Touch Panel and Atom Elkhart Lake CPU

Contec has developed two new fanless touch panel computers with a 10.1-inch projected capacitive touch panel and Intel Atom x6413E (Elkhart Lake) processor for the PT-D10WB-300 and PT-M10WB-300 series. Sales of these new products started on February 8, 2024.

The new products are fanless touch panel computers each feature an Intel Atom x6413E (Elkhart Lake) processor.
These new products offer 3.3 times the CPU performance of the previous model (PT-D10WB-100)*2 and include an expansion interface with five USB 2.0 ports, two LAN ports, and three RS-232C connections for legacy devices. A built-in UPS battery also ensures 5 minutes of operation even after a power failure, eliminating the need to worry about blackouts and momentary power failures. The included utility software can also be used to shut down the OS automatically for improved system stability and reliability.
The adjustable-angle display on the PT-D10WB-300 series can also be folded down by 90 degrees to the front, which is the same as a notebook computer with its display completely closed.

The built-in backup power supply (a nickel-metal hydride battery) protects the system from unexpected power outages such as blackouts and momentary power failures. Utility software that automatically shuts down the OS is also included.
- Rich variety of expansion interfaces that match embedding in devices
A variety of interfaces including five USB 2.0 ports, two LAN ports, and three COM (RS-232C) connections make connecting directly to barcode readers, thermal printers, and other business-use peripherals.
