New Firmware with Super Mode Support for DX-U2100 Series Industrial Edge AI Computers, Improving AI Performance by up to 70%

Contec has developed new downloadable firmware (JetPack6.2.0 installation image file) for its DX-U2100 Series edge AI computers for industrial use equipped with NVIDIA® Jetson Orin Nano™, introducing support for Super Mode. The new firmware will be available to download from July 17, 2025.
Super Mode support in the new firmware improves AI performance from 40 TOPS to up to 67 TOPS for 8 GB NVIDIA® Jetson Orin Nano™ devices, and from 20 TOPS to up to 34 TOPS for 4 GB devices.
DX-U2100 Series
Improved AI performance with Super Mode*
Super Mode will be available for all newly purchased DX-U2100 Series and existing DX-U2100 Series devices through the updated firmware.
Note that using Super Mode will result in different temperature derating characteristics and power consumption. Refer to the manual for more information.
