Contec has developed a PCI Express bus-compliant interface card with a high-speed, high-precision dual-channel analog input function and launched it as the AI-80M1202-PE, the newest product in the PC-HELPER Series for PC measurement control.

In recent years, demand has grown rapidly for advanced testing of LiDAR systems essential to autonomous driving, as well as EV motors. Accurately capturing rapidly changing analog signals is critical to ensuring the quality and performance of such devices, driving the need for ever-faster measurement environments.
Featuring a maximum conversion speed of 80 MSPS (12.5 nsec), the AI-80M1202-PE is ideally suited for testing rapidly advancing semiconductor devices and EV motor signals. This analog input card enables precise digitization of subtle waveform variations and high-speed phenomena that are difficult to capture with conventional products, significantly enhancing the performance and reliability of next-generation inspection systems.
Main Features
- Simultaneous sampling of 2 channels at a maximum conversion speed of 80 MSPS (12.5 nsec)
Simultaneous sampling of two channels is possible at a maximum conversion speed of 80 MSPS (12.5 nsec). The range can be set for each channel according to the level of the input signal source using software (input ranges: ±10 V, ±5 V, ±1 V). The card is also equipped with digital inputs/outputs (four LVTTL level input/outputs; optional DT-E3 cable required).
- Bus master transfer function and large-capacity (512M samples) for high-speed data acquisition
The bus master transfer function makes it possible to transfer data at high speed between a PC and its cards. Meanwhile, the built-in large-capacity memory offers ample storage space (up to 512M samples). This allows for the acquisition of a large amount of sampling data at high speed.
- Windows and Linux driver libraries available
We provide the driver library API-AIO(WDM) for Windows. In addition, support for the driver library API-AIO(LNX) for Linux is currently under development.
