Featuring a high-performance 13th-generation Intel® Core™ (Raptor Lake-U) processor, this new series of embedded computers is compact at just 30 mm thick and about the size of an A5 piece of paper (182 (W) × 155 (D) × 30.3 (H) mm). The completely natural air-cooled (fanless) design allows for operation in a wide range of temperatures (−20 to 55°C (-4 to 131°F) ^*4).
Keeping the same external form as the popular BX-T3000 Series of BOX Computers, the BX-T5000 Series also offers roughly 2.9 times^*5 better CPU performance.

The BX-T5000 Series boasts a wide range of expandable interfaces, including three 2.5GBASE-T ports, one RS-232C/422/485 port, one RS-232C port, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one DisplayPort, and one HDMI port. In addition, the Core i5 model is equipped with a CPU-integrated high-performance graphics controller—Intel® Iris Xe Graphics—that enables processing on par with entry-level graphics boards and smooth playback of 4K-quality high-definition video.
This makes the BX-T5000 Series ideal for embedded applications in devices, while the three LAN ports are perfect for use as an edge server, and the 4K graphics capabilities easily meet the needs of high-definition signage applications.
The BX-T5000 Series comes with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024, the latest Windows 11 embedded OS.

• 13th-generation Core i5 and Core i3 processors

  The BX-T5000 Series is equipped with power-saving and high-performance CPUs, providing advanced computing and graphical performance even with minimal power requirements. Reliable supply is ensured by the adoption of embedded CPUs.

• Extremely compact space-saving PC with an A5 paper installation area

  The space-saving design (30.3 × 182 × 155 mm (H × W × D)) of the BX-T5000 allows for installation in an area roughly the size of an A5 paper with a clearance of only 50 mm.

• Power Failure Protection™ system for reliable operation with no OS shutdown required*6

  The Power Failure Protection™ system protects data and prohibits writing to storage in the event of a power failure. When used together with the Windows IoT Enterprise lockdown (disk write suppression) feature, power can be safely turned off even without performing a shutdown process. This also helps prevent corruption of the file system and data due to sudden power loss.

• Convenient utilities based on Contec’s originally designed BIOS

  The product is equipped with utilities based on Contec’s original and convenient BIOS.

• Fanless design that reduces maintenance and inspection operations

  By adopting a spindleless design with no CPU fan, this series prevents dust and foreign materials from entering the system and reduces the use of components that deteriorate with age as much as possible, greatly reducing maintenance and inspection burdens.

• Rich variety of interfaces for easy connection to various peripheral devices

  In addition to one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 (USB 3.1) ports, one USB 2.0 port, and three LAN ports, the BX-T5000 Series also includes two RS-232C ports (with RS-422A/485 switching in one port) and one DIO port. A slot for easily replaceable CFast cards is also available for writing logs and other collected data. Wireless LAN connections are also possible with wireless models.
