Contec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishi-yodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Kazuyoshi Nishiyama) has developed a new industrial managed switching hub—the SH-9210TSN—with Class B–certified CC-Link IE TSN recommended network wiring components, DC power input with support for dual power supplies, eight gigabit LAN ports, and two SFP ports. The SH-9210TSN 10-port industrial managed switching hub conforms to IEEE 802.3ab (1000BASE-T), IEEE 802.3u (100BASE-TX), and IEEE 802.3 (10BASE-T) standards, and includes eight gigabit LAN ports and two SFP ports.
In addition to compatibility with the CC-Link IE TSN standard, the fanless design makes use possible in locations requiring quiet operation and long service life. The product’s metal housing with excellent heat dissipation also allows for use in ambient operating temperatures of -10 to +65°C. Various fixing brackets are available for installations on walls and 35 mm DIN rails.
The SH-9210TSN not only supports a wide range of DC power supply inputs (12 to 48 VDC) as well as dual power supply system inputs, but the wide variety of managed functions also improves network management, control, and reliability.
Main Features
- CC-Link IE TSN Class B support
The SH-9210TSN is equipped with Class B–certified CC-Link IE TSN recommended network wiring components. When used in a CC-Link IE TSN network environment, the hub will enable control communications that ensure real-time performance while also allowing for information communications—including IT systems—within the network.
- TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) function support
The switching hub supports TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) functionality, an extended function set designed for communication requiring real-time performance and high reliability in industrial networks.
- Rich variety of managed functions for monitoring, control, and improved reliability
The new product offers a wide range of functions for monitoring, control, and improved network reliability, including VLAN, QoS, RSTP, and SNMP.
- Support for a wide range of temperatures (-10 to +65°C / 14°F to 149°F)
The use of a metal casing with excellent heat dissipation achieves a wide range of temperature (-10 to +65°C) specifications, providing superior environmental resistance and durability, and allowing dependable use in harsh industrial environments.
- Equipped with eight 1000BASE-T–compatible ports
The switching hub is equipped with eight ports that comply with the IEEE 802.3ab (1000BASE-T), IEEE 802.3u (100BASE-TX), and IEEE 802.3 (10BASE-T) standards.
- Equipped with two SFP ports
Using the two included SFP ports to install SFP modules enables support for 100/1000BASE SFP.
- Support for dual power supplies and a wide range of power inputs
Support for dual power supplies means the hub can still be operated even if there is a problem with one of the power supplies. This product supports DC power supplies from 12 to 48 VDC. If a problem occurs in a power supply, LEDs on the front panel and the warning relay circuit make it easy to identify the problem quickly.
- Mountable on DIN rails or walls
The mounting bracket included with the hub can be used for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail or wall surfaces.
