Overview / Features

This product is an expansion chassis that allows to add more PCI bus slots by connecting an optional expansion adapter (EAD-DE-LPE) to a computer. The power can be turned on/off in conjunction with the computer. The compact housing design with built-in cooling fan allows space-saving system construction.

• PCI bus (5V/32bit 33MHz) slots can be added to a PC

  • PCI bus (5V/32bit 33MHz) can add 4 slots, an expansion adapter sold separately.
• PCI bus cards can be connected

  • Can connect 4 short size [176.5(L) x 107(H) mm] and long size [313.8(L) x 107(H) mm] PCI bus cards.
• Power-ON/OFF control of the expansion chassis can be linked to that of a PC

  • As a PC is turned ON or OFF, the expansion chassis can also be turned ON or OFF, accordingly.
• The compact design of the cabinet with a built-in cooling fan enables space-saving system construction.

  • Since the cabinet contains a built-in cooling fan, which achieves a compact design, can build a system even in a limited space next to a PC.
• A wide range of power supplies (10.8 - 31.2VDC) supported

  • It supports a wide range power supply of 10.8 to 31.2VDC and can be used in various power environments. An optional AC adapter (PWA-160AWD2) is available.
