Overview / Features

This product is a PCI Express bus-compliant interface card for digital signal output (12-24VDC). DO-128L-PE features 128ch opto-coupler isolated outputs (for use with current sink outputs). This product also has output transistor protection circuits (surge voltage protection, over-current protection). With the driver libraries for Windows/Linux supplied as standard, applications with CONTEC hardware features fully utilized can be created. LabVIEW is supported with a plug-in of dedicated libraries.

  • Opto-coupler isolated open-collector outputs (current sink type)
    • DO-128L-PE card has 128ch opto-coupler isolated open-collector output with a 200?sec response time (current sink type). A separate common ground is provided for each block of 16ch inputs which means that each block can connect to a different external power supply. The drive voltage for both the inputs and outputs is 12 - 24VDC.
  • Opto-coupler bus isolation
    • As the PCI Express bus (PC) is isolated from external signals by opto-couplers, this product has excellent noise torelance.
  • Windows/Linux compatible driver libraries are attached
    • Bundled driver library API-PAC(W32) enables to create Window/Linux applications. In addition, a diagnostic program by which the operations of hardware can be checked is provided.
  • Output circuits include zener diodes for surge voltage protection and poly-switches for overcurrent protection.
    • Zener diodes are connected to the output circuits to protect against surge voltages. Similarly, polyswitches are fitted to each group of 8ch outputs for over-current protection. Output rating : max 35VDC, 100mA per channel.
  • Functions and connectors are compatible with PCI compatible card
    • The functions same with PCI compatible card PO-128L(PCI)H are provided. In addition, as there is compatibility in terms of connector shape and pin assignments, it is easy to migrate from the existing system.
