Contec Co., Ltd. has developed a new series of powerful yet compact FA computers featuring an extensive selection of maintenance options including 7 years of on-site maintenance*. It has started receiving orders for the VPC-700 series from October 30, 2018.
FA Computer VPC-700 series
he new VPC-700 series is a line of small form factor FA computers featuring Mini-ITX industrial motherboards developed by Contec. In addition to being compact in size, these computers feature high-performance Core i7 processors and can be configured for mirroring. They also feature a hatch on the front from which storage devices can be easily installed or removed, facilitating maintenance. Furthermore, these models include one low-profile expansion slot, three Gigabit LAN ports, and eight USB ports for superior scalability. New VPC-700 series models offer the possibility of a long-term stable supply for 5 years starting from the launch of sales thanks to the adoption of high-quality parts with a long product life, such as a CPU designed for embedded devices. These models also feature an extensive selection of fee-based maintenance options to ensure a stable and long product life, including up to 7 years of on-site maintenance and an extended warranty of up to 6 years*. In preparation for overseas use, these models have acquired or will acquire certification for various safety standards including VCCI, FCC, and CE. Models with CCC certification will also be available upon customer’s request.
