Contec is pleased to present three new 4G LTE models (CPS-MCS341G5-DS1-130, CPS-MG341G5-ADSC1-931, and CPS-TM341G5MB-ADSC1-931) to its CONPROSYS™ controller series. Sales for the new models began December 15, 2020.

These new products are equipped with an LTE SIM-free communication module (for standard SIMs) that complies with the Radio Act of Japan (national standard for 4G LTE Cat. 4 lines), enabling transmission of collected data to cloud servers and other destinations over 4G networks.

The three new models offering 4G LTE connectivity are a configurable M2M Controller (CPS-MCS341G5-DS1-130) with support for various signal sources through various I/O modules stacked onto the CPU module; an M2M Gateway (CPS-MG341G5-ADSC1-931) with support for Modbus devices and PLCs from various manufacturers, MTConnect communication, and high-level communication using the OPC UA server function; and a completely program-less telemeter (CPS-TM341G5MB-ADSC1-931) specially designed for remote monitoring and data logging applications.

The complete CONPROSYS controller series—including these new products—feature a wide variety of necessary industrial IoT device functions and can contribute to significantly reduced time required for IoT system construction.
