Contec’s edge AI computer “DX-U2200” has been adopted for a railroad crossing monitoring system with AI image analysis technology by Meitetsu EI Engineer Co., Ltd.

Meitetu EI Engineer, which installs construct equipment and develop communication systems for Nagoya railroad and other nearby railway companies, organized a project team with Toyota Systems, which has experience in AI image analysis, and Toho Electric Industry, a railroad equipment manufacturer, to launch a railway crossing monitoring system with AI image analysis using DX-U2200 as an edge AI computer which meets the system requirements.
