Contec Co., Ltd. has added a new eight-slot coupler to its CONPROSYS™ nano series. The new controller was released for sale on March 11, 2025.

The new eight-slot CPU coupler unit further expands the CONPROSYS™ nano series lineup of remote I/O systems designed for superior cost performance and ease of use. The controller can be freely combined with CONPROSYS™ nano series I/O modules as needed for data collection and control.
Main Features
- Supports ambient temperatures from −20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)
This product can be used in various environments with ambient temperatures ranging from −20°C to 60°C.
- Equipped with two LAN ports with built-in switch function
The two LAN ports with built-in switch function allow for daisy-chain connections of interspersed points, eliminating the need for troublesome wiring.
- Supports Modbus-TCP Slave and Modbus-RTU Slave*1
Modbus is a communication protocol that is widely used in industrial fields. This product makes it possible to perform data collection and control from a high-level communication device equipped with a Modbus Master function.
- Windows and Linux software drivers available
Windows and Linux applications can be created using the device driver API-TOOL provided on the Contec website.
