Contec has developed an all-new four-channel PCI-compatible analog input card with simultaneous sampling at 10 MSPS.
This new AI-1204Z2-PCI will be available from July 16, 2025.

The changes between the former and new product models are listed below. The latest device driver version will be necessary to use the new product, and applications will need to be rebuilt. Contec recommends trying out the new product before making the switch from the older model.

Main Features

• Simultaneous sampling of 4 channels at 10 MSPS

  Simultaneous sampling of 4 channels is possible at a maximum conversion speed of 10 MSPS (100 nsec). The range can be set for each channel according to the level of the input signal source using software.

• Wide variety of settable sampling conditions

  Sampling start and end control options include software, conversion data comparison, external triggers, and event controller outputs. With completely independent controls for starting or stopping sampling, each control can be set individually. A sampling count end setting is also available.

• Synchronized operation of multiple cards

  The built-in synchronous control connector enables synchronous control of up to 16 cards, allowing easy channel expansion by simply adding more cards. Synchronous operation with other Contec cards equipped with a synchronous control connector is also possible.

• Large buffer memory and bus master transfer function for extended continuous data acquisition

  The device’s large-capacity buffer memory (256M samples) and bus master transfer function enable continuous data acquisition at high speeds for extended periods.
