Contec Co., Ltd. has introduced the new 12.1-inch model FPD-V12WB-20 to its lineup of FPD-V Series industrial touch panel displays. Contec began accepting orders for the new model today.

The new 12.1-inch wide-model FPD-V12WB-20 industrial touch panel display features a projected capacitive (PCAP) screen with 10-point multi-touch functionality.
Connecting the product’s USB Type-C input interface to a PC that supports USB Type-C DP Alt Mode enables video input, touch panel communication, and power supply simultaneously with a single cable, helping to minimize wiring.

FPD-V Series industrial touch panel displays adopt a new design that includes carefully selected components to meet the high-reliability, long-term supply requirements for industrial applications. These thin devices can be used in a wide range of applications, such as process control and work instructions for manufacturing lines, industrial equipment operation panels, entry/exit control, and displays in stores and retail locations.

In addition to the existing 11.6-inch model (FPD-V11WB-10), 15.6-inch model (FPD-V15WB-10), and the newly released 12.1-inch model (FPD-V12WB-20), the series will be gradually expanded to include a wide range of sizes, from 10-inch compact models to 20-inch or larger models.

Main Features

• Power suppliable via USB interface^*1

  Connecting the product to a PC that supports USB Type-C DP Alt Mode enables video input, touch panel communication, and power supply simultaneously with a single cable, helping to minimize wiring.

• Host PC power supply interlock for improved convenience

  Power interlocking is possible by connecting the display to a Contec industrial PC (LPC-400,LPC-500) using an HDMI cable. This makes it possible to turn on the host PC even if it is located in a hard-to-reach location just by turning on the display power. (Support may vary depending on the time the product was sold. • Industrial touch panel display with long-term supply

  Unlike general-purpose displays, the FPD-V Series offers high-reliability, long-term supply with carefully selected components. This eliminates the need for equipment designers to re-verify connectivity and change settings whenever the display model is changed out.

  This product is for power reception only. Power supply to the host computer is not supported.
