Contec has developed CPSN-COM-1PD2 (hereinafter referred to as the “new product”) as a successor model to the CPSN-COM-1PD serial communication module, and began accepting orders on June 24, 2026.
CPSN-COM-1PD2
The new product was developed as a successor model to ensure continuous product supply following the discontinuation of key components used in the previous CPSN-COM-1PD model. CPSN-COM-1PD2 provides equivalent specifications and performance to CPSN-COM-1PD and maintains a high level of compatibility. In principle, it can be used without changing the software or system configuration. However, we recommend that customers verify operation in their own usage environment in advance. For details of the changes, please refer to the manual and data sheet.

Due to the end of production (EOL) of the UART chip used in the previous model, the components have been replaced and the circuit board design has been reviewed.
