Contec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishi-yodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Kazuyoshi Nishiyama) has developed two new CONPROSYS™ nano series EtherCAT Coupler Units, the CPSN-EOB471EC-41 and CPSN-EOB471EC-81. These new products are available to order from today.

The new coupler units can be equipped with four or eight CONPROSYS™ nano series I/O modules, enabling the construction of remote I/O systems as EtherCAT SubDevice.

Main Features

  • Minimum communication cycle time of just 125 μsec

    With 32 digital inputs and outputs, the couplers boast a minimum communication cycle time of just 125 μsec.
    * CPSN-EOB471EC-81 with CPSN-DI-08L × 4 slots and CPSN-DO-08L × 4 slots (PDO size: 8 bytes)

  • Support for a wide variety of CONPROSYS™ nano series I/O modules

    These products can be used for flexible I/O module expansion using CONTEC’s diverse lineup of CONPROSYS™ nano series modules to match the required functions.

  • Usable in ambient temperatures from -20 to 60°C(-4 to 140°F)

    Both new products can be used in various environments with ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to 60°C(-4 to 140°F).
