New Models: DX-U1220 High-Capacity SSD and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Models Added to the DX-U1200 Series of Industrial Edge AI Computers with NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier NX™

Contec has developed two new models in its DX-U1200 series of edge AI computers for industrial use equipped with NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier NX™. These new DX-U1220 models feature a high-capacity SSD and additional expansion interfaces. The new models will be released for sale from November 2022.

Contec developed the DX-U1100 series—featuring two models with NVIDIA® Jetson Nano™—and the DX-U1200 series—featuring three models with NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier NX™—as IoT devices for edge computing.
The two new DX-U1200 series models come equipped with high-capacity NVMe storage (256 GB) that makes it possible to store even more learning library data and even longer data logging data. Simultaneous connections with multiple USB cameras for visual inspection and other production-line tasks are also possible thanks to four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports in addition to an RS-232C/422A/485 serial port for connecting sensors or other peripheral devices.
The addition of these two new models brings Contec’s NVIDIA® Jetson-equipped DX series to seven models in total.
