Contec has developed an industrial computer with excellent expandability that can accommodate up to 7 expansion cards, compatible with the 10th generation Intel® Core™ processors (Comet Lake). We are pleased to announce that the Solution-ePC "MR4100 Series" (hereinafter referred to as "the new product") will be available for ordering starting from July 2023.

The new product is 4U type 19-inch rack-mountable industrial computer that adopts a build-to-order (BTO) method, allowing customers to freely configure the components such as CPU, memory, storage, and optical drives by selecting from a menu.
Equipped with the 10th generation (Comet Lake) Intel Core processors, it features up to 7 expansion cards (4 PCI Express slots, 3 PCI slots), allowing for the implementation of high-performance GPU cards and a wide variety of measurement and control cards developed by our company. It also offers abundant expansion interfaces, including 2 Gigabit LAN ports, 1 serial port (RS-232C/RS-422A/485), and 8 USB ports.
The OS can be selected as Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, and it also supports a domestic Linux called "MIRACLE LINUX 9.0," which is compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and serves as the successor to CentOS.
Equipped with the Intel W480E chipset, it supports Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors. It can accommodate up to 128GB of memory.
It is equipped with expansion slots, including 1 PCI Express (x16)/(x8) *, 2 PCI Express (x4), 1 PCI Express (x8), and 3 PCI slots. It allows the implementation of high-performance interface cards such as high-speed GPU cards and our various measurement and control cards.
Seamless connectivity with a rich array of standard interfaces, including dual LAN, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 1 COM port (RS-232C/RS-422A/RS-485), 4 COM ports (RS-232C), and versatile display interfaces such as VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort. It also supports up to 128GB RAM and accommodates three SATA III devices, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
You can choose highly reliable made-in-Japan power supply that realizes both high reliability and system performance. When selecting a made-in-Japan power supply, you can also opt for a power supply with a nickel-hydrogen battery, which provides optimal protection against power outages and momentary interruptions.
The new product incorporates a robust industrial-grade motherboard that guarantees outstanding reliability and long-term availability. Additionally, you can select RAID functionality (hardware mirroring or software mirroring), ensuring peace of mind and uninterrupted usage over an extended period.
