Overview / Features

This PC card performs external equipment and a serial I/O card corresponding to PC Card Standard It is serial communication card on conformity CardBus. It can be used being able to insert in the PC card slot support to PC Card Standard CardBus. It has the serial port of one channel by one board. The Windows and the Linux driver attachment. It operates on Windows XP, Server 2003, 2000, Me, 98SE, 98, and Linux.

• • The baud rate of each channel can be individually set up by software.
• • The FIFO buffer of each 128 bytes for reception and transmission is loaded for every channel, and the size of a FIFO trigger is variable. The optimal performance is realizable by carrying out regulation according to a system.
• • It can be used being able to mount a maximum of two boards in the one personal computer. It can be used being able to mount a maximum of two sheets in the same personal computer.(Windows Me and 98, SE98 or Linux, it is only one board.)
• • By the PC card attachment, the junction part of a PC card and a connecting cable can be protected.
• • By attached standard COM driver software [COM Setup Disk], it can be used as a standard COM port for 98SE Windows XP/2000/Me or for Linux. It is also possible to programming by the communication control (MSComm) of Win32API communication functions (CreateFile(), WriteFile(), etc.) or Visual Basic is also possible.
