Computex 2015 Day 1 Recap: Who's Who in Embedded Computing?

If there was any question about what the embedded computing world was doing yesterday, the opening ceremonies at Computex have answered it.

Leaders in the embedded computing space such as Intel, Microsoft, ASUS, Acer, Gigabyte, and Mitac showcased existing products and solutions, new design concepts and real world examples of how the embedded computing and IT market is changing. Attendees too notice in Nangang Hall where Contec partners such as DFI ITOX, Apacer, Transcend, and In Win, were on hand to promote the breadth of their high quality, long life components and computer systems (memory, storage, power suppliers, chassis, motherboards, Box PCs, and Panel PCs)

The Contec booth turned heads with its display of digital and analog I/O expansion solutions, box PCs, small form factor industrial PCs and custom designed panel PCs built with multiple expansion slots and rich in I/O . Contec also showed some real world examples of the intersection between IT solutions, process control and measurement including its latest products that meet the EtherCAT Etehrnet Fieldbus Standard.
