CONTEC is pleased to announce the GPD-U64EM-DC2 Embedded 19-inch Flat Panel Display with Projected Capacitive (PCAP) Touch Screen. Sales of the product began on June 16, 2020.
This new 19-inch industrial flat-panel display adopts a projected capacitive (PCAP) touch screen for smooth touch operation and is designed to be embedded using a VESA mount. The GPD-U64EM-DC2 can be used as a display monitor for devices and equipment requiring tablet-like touch operation in a wide range of applications such as process control and work instructions for manufacturing lines, industrial equipment operation panels, and entry/exit control.
The display’s projected capacitive (PCAP) touch screen provides 10-point multi-touch operations for smooth and simultaneous touch, slide, and screen enlargement operations. The glass surface of the panel also offers excellent scratch resistance and clarity, enabling an IP65 (dust-proof and splash-proof) rating for the front panel. The device is compliant with various safety standards, including VCCI Class B, FCC Class B, CE marking (EMC Directive Class B, RoHS)*, and CCC, meeting the needs of equipment and device installations across the globe.
