CONTEC Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce support for EtherCAT - an industrial open-field network - has been added to the multi-protocol compatible CONPROSYS IO-Link Master (Model: CPSL-08P1EN).

CPSL-08P1EN

Compatible with various industrial Ethernet protocols, this product serves as a gateway for efficiently integrating industrial field networks with IO-Link, the I/O connection technology for the IEC 61131-9 international standard.

EtherCAT support brings the total number of compatible industrial Ethernet protocols to five: EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and CC-Link IE Field Basic. This allows the CONPROSYS IO-Link Master to perform data communication with a wider range of industrial manufacturing equipment, on-site communication networks, and IO-Link devices. Protocols can be selected using a switch on the device itself, and the built-in web server function makes it possible to configure function settings using just a web browser and without the need for dedicated tools.
