Contec has developed new Extended ATX (E-ATX) form factor Industrial Motherboard (Model: GMB-EAC62100) with 3rd generation Intel® Xeon scalable processors (Code Name: Ice Lake-SP) for support Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 and Windows Server IoT Standard 2019. The company will begin receiving orders for the GMB-EAC62100 in April 2022.

GMB-EAC62100 is designed for server grade high performance E-ATX industrial motherboard with 3rd generation Intel® Xeon® Processor families, which is designed for high performance edge computing, AI / Deep Learning and GPU solution. It features Single CPU, up to 256GB 8 x DDR4-3200/2933/2666MHz (by CPU SKU) with ECC, 3 slots PCIe x 16, 2 slots PCIe x8, 1 slot PCIe x4, onboard dual Giga Lan ports, 6 x USB 3.0, and 3 x USB 2.0. Rich I/O expansion fulfill customer needs especially in Industrial IoT, Machine vision, and AI / Deep Learning applications. Besides, it is Contec’s first server grade motherboard with high reliability, long life components, availability and maintainability based on 24-hours operation.

The product offers up to 4 hot-swappable hardware RAID configurations. Furthermore, the advanced edge computing environment for Image processing, Machine vision, AI / Deep Learning and more is provided.

• BMC function

  ASPEED AST2500 Advanced PCIe Graphics & Remote Management Processor that is onboard support Baseboard Management Controller provides customers with the best performance server management solution for system management and IPMI control.

• Support Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC and Windows Server IoT 2019

  The LTSC (Long Term Servicing Channel) version of Windows is installed to discourage unnecessary restarts or unwanted feature updates for operational applications. The product has a lockdown function that is useful for the developing secure dedicated terminals. A user can select a language from English, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean in Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC 64-bit, and can decide to use Windows Server IoT 2019^*, which is suitable for edge servers that require server-class multiple processing and network performance.
