Conversion cables are available for migrating the entire accessory configurations
Conversion cables are available for converting from the Analog G Series external connection connector (96-pin half-pitch connector) to the Analog E Series connector (37-pin D-sub connector). These conversion cables allow migration to the Analog G Series without changing the accessory configuration of the Analog E Series.

When using a conversion cable (DT-G2E-16 or DT-G2E-32), the number of analog outputs, control signals, digital I/Os, counters, and other parameters will be limited. For details, refer to the manual for the conversion cable.
API function capability for completing migration with minimal labor
The API functions of the Analog G Series are compatible with those of the previous Analog F/E Series.
Applications that were created with the Analog F/E Series can be used without modification by simply changing the settings. In this way, migration can be completed with minimal labor by using existing software assets.

Specifications comparison table
Compared to the previous Analog E Series, the analog I/Os, digital I/Os, and counters all have more channels. Bus master transfers and synchronous buses between cards are also supported for enabling faster applications.
