5 Models of Analog Input, Digital I/O and Thermocouple Input Modules Now Available

 CONTEC Co., Ltd. has developed the following 5 configurable models of analog input, digital I/O and thermocouple input modules (hereinafter “New model”) as new product of CONPROSYS™ nano series compatible with a wide temperature range of -20 to 60 °C. New models are released for sale on September 3, 2019.

5 new models are expansion modules that add digital I/O function, analog input function and so on to the CPU coupler unit of the CONPROSYS nano series.

  • CPSN-AI-2408LI

    24bit resolution opto-coupler isolated analog input. One module can be used as single-ended voltage input with 8 channels, differential voltage input with 4 channels, or differential current input with 4 channels and the functions are switchable. Supports Input ranges ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, 0~+10V, 0~+5V (Set by software command) and ±20mA and 0~+20mA (Switch setting).

  • CPSN-DI-16BCL

    The product contains 16 channels of opto-coupler isolated input (supports current sink output / current source output) whose response speed is 200μsec or less. The DIP switch is equipped to switch between the internal circuit power supply of 12VDC and the external circuit power supply of 12-24VDC.

  • CPSN-DO-08RL

    8 channels of opto-coupler isolated output (current source type) whose response speed is 200μsec or less.

  • CPSN-DO-08BRL

    8 channels of opto-coupler isolated output (current source type) whose response speed is 200μsec or less. 12VDC Built-in power supply.

  • CPSN-SSI-4C

    24bit resolution 4 channels of opto-coupler isolated thermocouple input module whose response speed is 251msec per channel. Compatible thermocouple sensors are J, K, E, N, R, S and T type. As cold junction compensation is integrated in the product, there is no need to install a temperature sensor for cold junction compensation externally, and temperature can be measured simply by connecting a thermocouple.

  • Easy Installation and Removal [Common]

    This product can be installed in and removed from the CPU unit without any tools.

  • Adaptable to a Wide Range of Temperature between -20 and +60°C [Common]

    The product is capable of operating in the temperature between -20 and + 60°C. It can be installed in the various environments.

  • Equipped with the LED for an Operation Check [Common]

    The product has the LED for an operation check, which helps you visually confirm the communication status of each interface.

  • Easy Wiring by Included 10 Pin Connector

    While pushing the orange part in the center of the connector with a precision screwdriver or a similar tool, insert the cable into the round connection hole.

  • Digital Filter Equipped [only available CPSN-AI-2408LI]

    Slowing the speed of switching channels with software command removes high-frequency noises. Moreover, 50/60Hz noises can be removed by setting to the power noise removal mode.

  • All of the Input Signals are Usable as Interrupt Events [only available CPSN-DI-16BCL]

    You can use all of the input signals as interrupt events and also disable or enable the interrupt in bit units and select the interrupt edge.

  • Input Counter Function [only available CPSN-DI-16BCL]

    Digital input and counter input can be switched per channel. The counter values are automatically saved upon turning off the power.
