CONPROSYS™ Robust I/O Series
The CONPROSYS Robust I/O series is a stand-alone remote I/O module that supports the Modbus communication protocol. It supports a wide temperature range from -25 to 75°C(-13 to 167°F), has excellent noise resistance, and is environmentally resistant with an overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuit. It can be used in industrial applications such as monitoring plant equipment and production lines, and process control.

Monitoring for both module and communication failures: Dual Watchdog
The Dual Watchdog function monitors for both module and communication failures.
It automatically restarts when a module malfunction is detected.
A module with a signal output forcibly returns the signal output to the power-on state (optional setting).
The signal output is also returned to the safe value (optional setting) when communication commands from the host are interrupted.
This prevents damage or abnormal operation of sensors/actuators connected to the module.
Strong ESD/EFT resistance and surge resistance
Passed IEC 61000-4-5 surge test, IEC 61000-4-2 ESD test, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT test.
Robust design resistant to noise, spikes and high voltage electrostatic discharge.
Overvoltage Protection
High overvoltage protection is provided for analog input and digital input channels.
It prevents module damage caused by high-voltage spikes and miswiring.
Overcurrent Protection
The analog input channel provides overcurrent protection.
It is protected so that high current and high voltage in the current loop do not affect current measurement.
LAN Bypass
When the module is powered off, the bypass function automatically activates to maintain and continue network communication.
(CPSR-ET7200 only)
Disconnection detection
The sensor input channel has a disconnection detection function.
This prevents system malfunction due to broken wiring between the sensor and the input channel.
Virtual Channel Isolation
The analog input channel has virtual channel isolation function.
(leakage current less than 1 μA)
Prevents noise interference from adjacent channels.
Common voltage protection
Common voltage protection is provided for the analog input channel.
Measurement error is reduced when multiple channels are connected.
Features
I/O pair connection function
Pairs of input modules and output modules can function as an alternative to signal cable connections.
When the status of a digital input or analog input channel changes, the digital output channel or analog output channel settings are automatically updated and the signal is output.
No host controller or user programming is required.
(CPSR-ET7000/ET7200 only)
Multi-host function
This function can be used as an I/O channel for up to 12 host controllers.

CONPROSYS Robust I/O Utility for Windows

Easy to use dedicated utility software for Windows, CONPROSYS Robust I/O Utility is available (download from the website).
The module connected to the host controller with RS-485/Ethernet is automatically detected. Communication parameters, sensors, input range and output range can be easily set from the GUI screen.
Input channel monitoring and output channel test output can also be performed from the GUI screen.
Compact design compatible with DIN rails
Compatible with 35 mm DIN rails. Compact design that can be installed on a control panel or in a small empty space in equipment.

Web HMI function (built-in web server)
The module has a built-in web server that allows users to monitor and control the module from a remote location using a web browser.
